After graduation

Remember the time when you were young and your parents used to tell you that you'll have a great life when you finished studying? Well that isn't completely true. The reality is you'll have the greatest struggles in life right after college. Being a college graduate doesn’t only means that you are out of your parents’ grasp, it also means you’re about to lose a lot of things also:

These are few things you’ll lose:

Allowance
First thing you will realize is that you won’t be given any allowance anymore for your outings and night outs. Meaning, you won’t have money, you won’t be able to shop, and you won’t be able to go out with friends (who are more or less broke either).

Things to do
Right, you will have lots of time to do everything on your bucket list once school is over. But once you graduate, it’s not that you have too many things to do in such a little time, but you have too much time at your hand you’ll end up doing nothing. You’ll spend your time watching, eating and scouring the net on what to watch and what to eat the next day.

A daily schedule
It means that you won’t have any schedule you could follow, no classes to expect, no assignments to accomplish. All the things you’re used to do since you were in grade school cease to exist. (Yes and it includes those relentless hours you spend trying to study but ending up watching TV anyways.)

P.S. And you also won’t be too excited when a storm comes in, you will not have that ecstatic feeling again when they say that classes are suspended. Seriously it takes the adrenalin rush out of you

Social Life
Yes, you and your friends will hang out once in a while like good old days. But as time passes, with no money to spend and with no same schedule to follow, the only way that you will be able to communicate is by SMS(assuming you have load to send a message) or thru  social media. Sad truth, but those daily hang outs at your own little Central Perk (or MacLaren’s For the outgoing type) would certainly go down a notch if not to zero.

Sanity
Well, if you can’t handle the fact that no. 1,2,3 & 4 is happening, this could certainly be also one thing you could lose

But, even though this happens after graduation, a bunch of effort, a ton of perseverance, and a pinch of luck, that promise of a great life would really not look so far away. So to all those who are looking for work, keep looking. And for those who just graduated, well, you’re adventure has just begun.
