Where do we eat?

“Where do we eat?”

That my friends, is the hardest question I ever encountered during my College years. Every day during lunch, I and my friends always ask this question. Trying to debate on where to go and where to eat, we usually do a toss coin or play rock, paper, scissors (bato, bato pick!) to decide on this matter, using 15 minutes of that precious one hour and weirdly ending up eating at the same place every day (more or less).

But this question is indeed a very deep, a very complicated, and a very serious topic. There is a lot of things to consider before you can really choose where to eat. The following are:

Purpose
Why do you need to eat? It might sound a stupid question, but really, why?
Your answer could be as plain as ‘coz I’m hungry or it may be that you just need to go outside the house, to study or think, not necessarily because you’re hungry. Knowing you’re purpose will help you decrease choices on where to go out to eat.

Location
If you have a car with unlimited fuel, this criterion really doesn’t matter. But if you don’t, well you really might want to scour your place for good food finds. Be it a café (for studying), a restaurant (for socializing) or a simple carinderia or turo-turo (food stands) would be good just to have a list of where you could go when ever your munchies come by to haunt you.

Craving[krey-ving]
noun
great or eager desire
It is indeed a great factor in eating. Following your cravings could really satisfy your day, change your mood from bad to best. You must know what exactly you crave for before deciding on where to eat. Do you crave pasta and pizza? a rice meal or two? Or just like me, a KFC original chicken? Eating something that is not what your craving desires usually makes you a.) Cranky, b.)Upset, c.)Still hungry d.) All of the above

Ambiance
Ambiance makes or breaks your purpose in going to the place where you want to eat. A quiet, earth colored, caffeine scented café usually is best for those who would just like to sit down, read a book and relax, while a loud, lively and beaty (not a word)place is usually perfect to hang out with friends for a drink or two. It can also, seriously, make or brake a relationship (especially when it’s a first date).

Make sure you take a look at the menu well,
there might be some extra charges you don't know
Budget
Well, you can only eat what you can pay for.  This is a priority concern for me ‘cause you wouldn’t even think of considering to go to a place that you cannot afford, even though all the other criteria checked out. You wouldn't like to end up washing dishes right?

Considering these criteria, you wouldn’t have any problem answering the question, but you really need to think quickly, because you don’t have the whole day to think where to eat. You actually need to go there and actually eat the food, which also takes time. Saying this, this question is indeed a very invigorating topic. Funny, they always say that Lunch time is the easiest subject in school…. Well it’s not!

Will make a blog on sites where you can get your list of restaurant that could satisfy your every craving and eating purposes. But that would be on my next day off J

I don't own any of the pictures by the way
